Exams At Medical Park Imaging
At Medical Park Imaging we take great pride in our wide range of services and the best equipment technology has to offer.

MRI- Magnetic Resonance Imaging allows us to see internal organs, blood vessels, muscles, joints, tumors, areas of infection, and more.

CT SCAN- Computerized Tomography is painless and produces cross-sectional images of the body. CT Scans are useful in identifying tumors, sinusitis, aneurysms, kidney stones, and other abnormalities. If the doctor requests a study with contrast, patients will be advised to fast for 3-6 hours.

ULTRASOUND- Also known as sonography, an ultrasound is a non-invasive study in which high-frequency sound waves are transmitted to internal organs and the returning echoes are recorded, allowing doctors to see hard to reach body areas. Patients may be advised to fast or drink water on the day of the exam.

MAMMOGRAPHY- A mammography is a low-dose x-ray for examination of the breasts that plays a central part in detection of breast cancers. A mammography is recommended for women from the ages of 35 to 40 and beyond. We recommend on the day of the exam not to wear body powder, deodorant, or lotion.

BONE DENSITOMETRY- Also known as dexas, bone densitometry are non-invasive studies that measure bones to detect osteoporosis.

X-RAYS- A form of radiant energy which penetrates the body, x-rays allow radiologists to see bones, fractures, tumors, and nodules.

FLOUROSCOPY- A flouroscopy is a types of x-rays which allows doctors to see hollow organs of the body. A radiopaque substance, whether given orally or through injection, is used to see parts of the body such as the esophagus, stomach, small or large intestines, and blood vessels. Fasting and preparation will be advised when an appointment is booked
